With quick access to the slopes, a winter season packed with powder and cosy lodge vibes, this place is ideal for a fun-filled snow getaway. The spacious lodge accommodates groups of 4-5 people in our family rooms and 8 twin share rooms for couples or groups of two.

The Myoko ski season typically runs from mid-December through to late March, with conditions varying each year depending on snowfall. January and February are generally the heart of the powder season, while some higher-elevation resorts may remain open into April or later.
Myoko is famous for its deep snowfall, with regular snowstorms throughout the winter season. Temperatures can be cold and conditions can change quickly, so we recommend bringing appropriate winter clothing and footwear.
If you are driving, winter tyres are essential and a 4WD or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended. Allow extra travel time during periods of heavy snowfall.
The easiest way to reach Lodge Myoko from Tokyo is by taking the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Joetsu-Myoko Station, then connecting to the local train to Myoko-Kogen Station.
Lodge Myoko offers free pickup from Myoko-Kogen Station for guests. Please arrange your pickup with us in advance.

No. Most guests don’t need a car.
Lodge Myoko offers scheduled winter shuttle services to help guests get around the local Myoko area, and free pickup is available from Myoko-Kogen Station.
Having a car can be useful if you plan to independently explore ski resorts and attractions further outside the main Myoko area.
Lodge Myoko does not have on-site guest parking.

Myoko is an excellent base for exploring a variety of ski areas.
Other resorts within the wider region include Seki Onsen, Madarao Kogen, Tangram Ski Circus and Lotte Arai Resort.

Local buses and taxis are also available, although services can be limited during busy periods and heavy snowfall.
