Transfers How to Get to Lodge Myoko

Whether you’re arriving for world-class skiing, peaceful hikes, or simply to relax in the fresh mountain air, getting here is easier than you might think. With convenient train connections from Tokyo and Nagano, and just a short ride from Myoko-Kogen Station, your alpine adventure begins the moment you start your journey. STEP 1

Tokyo → Joetsu-Myoko Station

  • Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station (or Ueno Station) to Joetsu-Myoko Station.
  • Travel time: about 1 hour 45 minutes (fastest service).
STEP 2

Joetsu-Myoko → Myoko-Kogen Station

  • From Joetsu-Myoko, transfer to the Echigo Tokimeki Railway (Myoko Haneuma Line) bound for Myoko-Kogen Station.
  • Travel time: about 35 minutes.
STEP 3

Myoko-Kogen → Lodge Myoko

  • You can arrange a private transfer from the train station to Lodge Myoko upon request when making your booking and one of our helpful staff will be waiting for you at the station for ¥5000 per trip
  • Alternatively from Myoko-Kogen Station, you can take a local bus or taxi to Ikenotaira Onsen ski area.
  • Bus: about 15–20 minutes (runs more frequently in winter).
  • Taxi: about 10–15 minutes.
